Gutter Repairs, Additions, and Clean-Up for Better Drainage in Lehi
Challenge
This Lehi home was facing multiple functional and aesthetic issues with its gutter system. A sagging corner miter was allowing water to sit instead of draining properly. The downspouts were either clogged or completely missing in key areas, creating risk of water damage. Old coaxial cables were cluttering the exterior, and several sections of the home had no gutters at all—leaving the home exposed to pooling water, foundation erosion, and roofline deterioration. An end cap was coming loose, and a drop-in gutter section was incomplete, reducing the effectiveness of the drainage system.
Solution
Our team took a comprehensive approach. First, we raised the corner miter by adding two screws, improving the slope so water would properly flow toward the downspout. We cleaned out debris from the gutters and downspouts, and installed additional hangers for long-term support. A new downspout was added to the front main roof, another to the back section, and an entirely new gutter and downspout were installed on the back side of the home. We also replaced the partial drop-in piece with a full one and secured the loose end cap for full functionality.
To enhance the home’s appearance, we removed outdated coaxial cables from around the property—instantly giving the exterior a cleaner, more maintained look. The transformation not only improved performance but also elevated the home’s curb appeal.
While this restoration drastically improved water flow and protection, the Gutter Shutter system would have provided a permanent solution—with built-in guards to prevent clogs, no-sag design, and zero maintenance required. It’s the ultimate upgrade for homeowners looking for long-term peace of mind and seamless exterior protection.
