The Challenge: Persistent Water Damage Threatening Home Integrity

This home was facing a series of water-related issues that, left unchecked, could have caused severe structural damage. Rust was forming near the entry steps due to poor drainage, and gaps in the roof were allowing dirt and moisture to seep through an outdated and ineffective filter. Over time, these problems led to water pooling, potential wood rot, and a compromised soffit, putting the home’s foundation and overall durability at risk.

Custom Drainage Solution: Jamie designed and installed a custom strategic drainage system to redirect water away from the foundation. This required rerouting the drainage to a more effective location, preventing future pooling and potential damage.
Enhanced Protection: We removed the failing, outdated filter that was allowing dirt and moisture to seep through the roof. A seamless soffit replacement was installed to reinforce the roof structure, preventing future water damage and rot.
Long-Term Durability: To address the existing rusting near the entry steps, we installed a more resilient gutter system with Gutter Shutter, a maintenance-free and highly durable solution that prevents clogging, rust, and leaks.

Water damage near the entry steps had caused rusting and buildup, while gaps in the roof allowed dirt and moisture to seep through an old, ineffective filter. Our team replaced the failing system with Gutter Shutter, ensuring proper protection and flow.

With new Gutter Shutter installation, properly placed downspouts, and an extended drainage system, this home is now set up for long-term performance and protection against water damage.

We installed wide-mouth downspouts to improve water flow, preventing clogs and overflow issues. Extending the downspouts further from the house also helps eliminate rust buildup.

Jaime took the extra step of improving the home's drainage by digging a pathway and installing a piping system, ensuring water flows safely away from the foundation instead of pooling near the house.

The old filter wasn't doing its job-dirt and water were seeping through, collecting under the hooded gutter, and causing damage. With a full gutter replacement and proper sealing, this home is now fully protected.
